I ordered two tubes from Tube Depot thro Amazon. Tube Depot mailed it out from TN on Apr 30,2020. One of the ecc88 tubes was faulty.
I eventually emailed to TD COO Joseph Austin dated Sep 7,2020:
"RE: Order ID: **************442 RETURN AND REPLACEMENT OF FAULTY ITEM" I had emailed Tube Depot via Amazon site about "returning and replacing" a faulty tube earlier on: Jul 12,2020. It was the same msg sent on Jun 22,14 also. After I had sent the 2 said feedback, an immediate automated reply will state "assuringly" this product has "a 90day warranty" and in good faith I waited for their additional reply/emails but got none.
I emailed TD on Jul 29,2020:
Unfortunately you/r reply didn't meet my needs.
For returning of good section, the "Return of goods & its replacement" option wasn't -- available.
That was the option I wanted to select.
It would have made this communication soooo much easier -- it is such a pain.
(FYI: It's the first time I am returning an item to Amazon -using their website - and I am baffled by the procedures – they are new to me. I had checked my Amazon app on my order history and it states that "this item is no longer eligible for return. The return window closed on Jun 17 2020." I was angry. Their customer service sucks – BIG TIME! Felt cheated.)
I returned the faulty item via registered mail to Amazon.com - Returns 1850 Mercer Rd., Suite 100 Lexington, KY 40598 USA.
I also emailed Tube depot on Jul 29,2020 about my returned item to them.
Tube Depot's reply on Wednesday, July 29,2020:
"That's a lot of demands for someone who has already left a 1-star review & bad comments. Why should we try to help you now? We explained multiple times how to get replacement. You ignored our directions and left an uninformed comment. You sent the return to the wrong place anyway..."
My reply: I apologize. Had TD given clear step-by-step instructions instead of brief reply (no Return Address in TN given) on how to return the item, I wouldn't have made the mistake. I asked TD how I can right the situation, so I can get my replacement tube and update the negative feedback with a positive one instead.
TD didn't reply.
So I emailed *******@tubedepot.com addressed to TD COO Joseph Austin (dated Sep 7,2020) explaining the situation. Requesting him to help resolve this matter by: Oct 06,2020 otherwise he is indifferent to the advice "It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it. If you think about that, you'll do things differently." – Warren Buffet
TD COO Joseph Austin is indifferent.
If TubeDepot values only good customer feedbacks and is clearly averse to poor feedbacks; why is their customer svc is poor? Sad sad co.
Wonderful service and product. Fast and answered all my questions. Very reasonable and high quality.

I have used Tube depot since 2015.
You can get preamp tubes that are tested for low micro phonic tendencies, gain and matched.
They even have some tubes that are obscure. For example I needed two 6AK5 preamp tubes for my headphone amplifier. I received New old stock General Electric preamp tubes. Sounds much better then the tubes that came with it.
My issues were slow shipping on one order and one tube arrived bad. USPS was to blame for the slow ship, and TD took care of the bad tube asap. The quality otherwise and the knowledge and helpfulness of product and staff seems purposely top notch. I would advise using the FedEx two day option which was only 10 bucks and well worth it unless you want to wait on USPS free shipping. I think the pricing and availability of New and NOS tubes is very competitive, and in many cases, the best available.

I only wish I had to buy more tubes. Nowhere else would even be considered.
I've been dealing with Tube Depot for several years now. Their products and customer service are top notch. Shipping is unbelievably fast. Pricing is competitive. They are my first choice when I need tubes for antique electronics restorations or new builds (like stereo amplifiers).
I give them my highest recommendation. Excellent company!
In this day and age of 1) getting past a robot to talk to a live person and/or B) having to draw a picture to describe what you need help with, it was truly a joy to be greeted by a live person who understood my question on the first pass. Not only that, fixed the issue almost before I was done describing the help I needed. Fast, friendly, exceptional!

I ordered an SSR a while back and it was causing the fuse to blow in two different units. I contacted
TubeDepot and they sent me a new unit that worked just fine.

I bought three Genalex Gold Lion tubes for a Fender Super Champ X2 amp. Matched tubes, 24 hours burned and low noise options.
They send the tubes in a big box. Inside of the box these tubes were wrapped with paper and these guys used a mininum of plastic, very eco-friendly. Really cool!
About the quality. I´m not sure because this is my second experience buying tubes in my life. I just can say I feel sounds smoother, lesser harsh. I asked my wife if she feels the same and tell me: cleaner tones
Anyway, I need more time to try the amp with differente voices just to make sure and swap the speaker for a real one. I'm still skeptical, but it seems an upgrade!
And I tried to upload the video, but I´m not skilled with the video formats, ufff!
I'm a pretty picky tube user and have had good luck with multiple orders from Tube Depot. One recent tube arrival 'concerned' me, tube depot's customer service had a pre-paid return shipping label in my mailbox immediately - no muss, no fuss, repalcement tubes sent. Excellent customer service!
The items that I purchased were very reasonably priced, exactly as described, of excellent quality, packed, and shipped on time.
I like their review of tubes, showing characteristics, etc. Helps me decide what to order. All the tubes I've purchased from Tube Depot have been superb. Highly recommended!

It was pretty easy to get ahold of them but they were, rude, condescending, and did not even attempt to reconcile my shipping issues.

They were the first google result. Never going through them again, I have found many other businesses that have much better service and selection
